Pinch punch first of the month. Okay...the 4th. That whole 28-days-in-the-month-of-February situation has got me all out of whack. There were a couple of missed events and deadlines as I was so delusional as to think we had three more days till "the end of the month". Uni work was put on the back burner until the last minute but thanks to  the help of some of you on grin and bear it, I was able to get through that in record speed without wanting to pull my teeth out. Now what does all this say about organization? pretty bad form I tell ya. I blame it on the sudden surge of colour all around me. Everywhere I turn, there's a waft of colourful air to be breathed in.  It's intoxicating.  In the best way of course. Reminds me of the first time I discovered you could mix two colours to create another, courtesy of Barney. Remember that? Basic red, yellow and blue and you've got magic.

Which always left me wondering, where do those three basic colours come from? What's your theory?

Those zebra-socks! And that yellow dress... So pretty :D

My theory? I don't really know. Perhaps from the sun, the sea and the roofs? But then green had to be one of the colors as well, for the grass...

I'm not sure either. :) I tried to find who came up with this first without much success. Actually color is very cultural and semantical thing, like we have names for seven colors in the rainbow but there are tribes out there who has only two names for all the seven colors. Also for example there wasn't a traditional/ national name for 'orange' in my language we've borrowed it. :)

I think it's how the light bends and creates the color? Ah! I have no idea! Hehehe! I'm just glad that they are here. Having said that, I can't wait for spring to come to see lovely colors again! I'm so done with the gloom of winter.
