I Can Feel It In My Bones

2.8.10

I've been listening to Metric on repeat for the most part of the weekend. With their music, there is a groove; a great atmosphere that kept me going this past couple of days.

I don't think I've ever walked around as much as I did this weekend. Made me realize how much I miss having a bike. The train is handy, but sometimes it involves a lot of merry-go-round. I've been really tempted to buy one. However, the thought alone brings a huge lump to my throat. The roads downtown are super scary; a case of man versus machine almost. So for now, I stick with walking, and tend to my aching bones at the end of the day.

I ended up staying in Toronto instead of going to Montreal for the weekend, and I'm glad I did. I've been looking for a floppy hat for the past couple of months, and found one at the Chosen Ones Vintage Sale. Some of you asked me to take photos. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to because my camera chose the perfect opportunity to die out on me. I'll be sure to keep it fully charged next time.

Hope you all has a lovely and relaxing weekend!

Bisous,
Abs

I love the pictures. You are gorgeous.
What camera do you use? I'm saving up for a new one. I just ordered my first tripod, and I'm very happy. I can finally take pictures without setting my camera on the floor. :)
Speaking of walking, I can't remember the last time I walked for a long time. I'm always on my bike! :)
Anyway, I hope you week is going well.
All my love.

@bloggergirl7: the photo was taken out the Museum of Contemporary Canadian Arts on Queen West (Queen and Ossington I believe). I'm always looking for cute little places too!

@Tywo:no problemo! hurray for tripods. I should probably invest in one soon. Maybe when I visit Peoria I can feel safe enough to bike ride. I use a Sony N50. Just a simple point and shoot camera. If you're looking to take better quality photos, I don't recommend it. I'm looking to upgrade soon myself.

@Zoe: Yeah. Good taste in music ;)

@Rebecca: I'm glad I just saved you a lot of time! Have you been before? I had my vacation in the spring. This is my first full summer in Toronto, so I'm trying to make the most of it!

@broke in the OC: 6 years?! Woah! You're a bigger fan than I. I just found out yesterday that they hail from Toronto. Yay Canadian pride! ;)

@Elle Sees: that's a fab song! One of my faves

@Isabella: It is amazing! Thanks for following :) I'll be sure to stop by your blog soon.
