Hexa by Kuho

A Nick Knight film for Hexa by Kuho F/W 10/11 featuring Ranya Mordanova

I'm not big on head-to-toe neutrals, but if I ever were to give it a shot, I would love for it to go a little something like this. It'll be sort of like that space where people can't quite figure out whether you're wearing a trench as a skirt or a skirt as a trench. A space where people wonder why you've got your shirt inside out and all scrunched up or why you're wearing three layers of trousers- to ward off the blistering cold or because you've gone off your rocker they might ask. It'll be a place where artistic expression knows no bounds and the overall theme is focused on re-emergence while paying close attention to drapery and deconstructed asymmetrical lines without worrying too much about the perfection of it all. Yes, yes, this is precisely what I would love to go for in the absence of vibrant colours. On this snow day here in Toronto, Hexa by Kuho  type dressing might just be what the doctor ordered. Interpretive dancing is completely optional.

I love these styles. Even though they are simple they have a unique edge to them that makes you want to look at each piece. Very inspiring.

I actually quite like the look of an all neutral outfit, but details like the ones you describe definitely add a bit of visual interest.

These are really lovely.

That first piece! I'd love to wear that. I wear neutral outfits but of course nothing like this. I tried to recreate a bit of the layery crunched feel in the 3rd look in one of my recent outfits. Unknowingly of course since I've never seen these photos.

Love the architectural details of all these pieces, gorgeous! It would be the perfect way to keep interest sans color.

I'd love to own a jacket or trench skirt! I sometimes wear my plaid shirts as skirts. It gives an opportunity to make more use of my closet and let my imagination run free :)

I think with such strong structures and cuts you need to stay with neutral colours. Great pieces!

The first one is really great. The pieces are so interesting on their own, I suppose color isn't really needed. Still, I'd find it very difficult to stop myself from throwing one colorful accessory into the mix! Bright, neon socks would look fantastic with the first one...or how about a bold, colorful clutch or chunky bracelet with the last one?

I think the 2nd and the 4th outfit are quite nice still :) Especially the second is pretty creative and funny.

I love the unstructured-ness of these looks and even though the colour pallete is neutral the asymmetric-ness of everything still makes the outfit speak volumes!
