Dirty Dancing

There's something infectiously charming about the film Dirty Dancing. Perhaps it's the setting of a resort vacation, the catchy soundtrack or maybe it's the totally cheesy but memorable quotes. Norwegian designer Bjørg definitely agrees with me on this one. With her 2011 collection featuring fluorescent opals and this "nobody puts baby in a corner" number,  she takes us on a playful quest of a paradise lost to be recollected. Feel free to continue your quest here.

Thanks for introducing it to us Abi.

As for the fashion shows, I have been qite disappointed when I found out that Lucian Matis is not going to show anymore and has decided to show his collection in New York instead. His impeccable craftsmanship and grandeur is definitely something I was looking forward to see. Other than that I wanted to get the Joe Fresh Style show tickets but of course it was sold out.

I am now keeping my fingers crossed for February and will start my preparations early. You are right though the thought of going all the way to the heritage court does not excite me very much either.

Love
