Story Of Boy Meets Girl

30.9.10

I love the androgynous look at the Dsquared2 Spring Summer 2011 show. Androgyny has been done to shreds, but this is not necessarily a story of a girl raiding her dad's closet playing dress up. To me it's more a tale of a girl who has a field day in the menswear section of a department store, finds pieces that actually fit her frame, and pairs them with more ladylike pieces. Now, where is said lady located? St Tropez or St Barts perhaps.

What do you think?

I do really like this take on androgyny - it seems like a revised/updated version.

I really love the snakey skirt... I do like this take on androgyny. It's kind of taking a really horrible 80s dad outfit and making it cool!

Beautiful glasses, make-up, skirt... Evertything! :D

And no, my heel is not clean yet. I decided to let it dry and then scratch it off with something, instead of working with it while it is still sticky XD

I wouldn't call it "androgynous" I'd say it's girly tomboy. Dressing masculine with elements of femininity.

And those sunnies/ glasses - need, need a pair!

I love the details, the pictures are great and the glasses on the first picture are so so cool

That skirt is gorgeous!!! I want it... but it's Spring here in NZ, nearing summer so... it may not be the right weather for leather skirts. Haha.

@Trixie: oh nope. It's probably time for rompers and the lightest of fabrics for you!

@Ginta: perhaps.

@Sabina: thanks! I'll stop by
