Ethnic Prints

23.7.10

dress: zara; boots: f21; bag: gift from Cape Town; necklace: ethnic shop

I got this dress from Zara a couple of months back and I thought it perfect for the great summer days we've been having. Lots of ventilation afforded to me. I love the look of ethnic bags. I think they're a perfect way to incorporate a dash of color and pattern to what could otherwise be a plain outfit. This one was a gift my sister picked up while in Cape Town. I love the fold top and  little compartments inside. Perfect for someone like me who's prone to loosing things in the depths of my bag.
I had a browse on Etsy for similar finds and came up with these ones below.

1. Adama $60.00 USD here
2. Slouch Bag Purse African Ethnic Cotton $44.00 USD here
3. Dazzling Hobo/Shoulder Bag-Vintage $215.00 USD  here
4. Fold Top Shoulder Bag $107.00 USD here

Love your entire look head to toe. The white dress really makes the bag stand out, and the boots toughen up the whole thing. Fantastic.

I love tribal prints, but it's best to wear them with something a little less colourful, just like your beautiful Zara dress!

I love that dress. Actually I love anything Zara. There isn't one near me, but they are opening an online store September 2nd! Can't wait! I also love those bags! I have an ethnic print skirt, but I think I want more things of that print, expecially after this post.

@Jen: it is quite the thrill. It happens once in a blue moon for me though cause there's only one store in this city, and everyone else seems to beat me to it

@Simona: thanks for following. I'll be sure to stop by your blog soon

@Catherine: they are opening an online store?! Thanks for the inside scoop. I'm all sorts of excited

Thanks for the link to the bag. I'm all too often in black so this is a great way to add a pop of color.
