Nouvelle Vague

from here

New wave songs with cheeky bossa nova twists. Producers Marc Collins and Olivier Libaux with singers like Melanie Pain, Phoebe Killdeer & Nadeah Miranda, have managed to cover various classics without the risk of a blatant rip-off. Their sound reminds me of tunes you hear at a coffee shop that leave you wondering who exactly is on the record. Now you can bring the coffee shop along on walks and bike rides. Their style is their own, and has been the perfect soundtrack to my summer so far. Take a listen. You likey?

oh my gaaaa, i can't tell you how freakin' excited i am to see you post about them. none of my friends know their music and i've been making them listen to the goodness over and over. one of my ALL TIME faves! i've seen them twice now and best is at the end of each song the little french singers say a polite "merci", it's adorable!
